Sierra Europe offers worldwide a wide range of cable strippers set to process all types of cable. Sierra cable strippers are the only one on market with following features: the blades placement in series allows to speed up the process increasing the productivity to high levels and making each model right to different kind of cable.
Cable strippers are part of wide range of equipments that Sierra offer to help the processing of scrap metal. The cable stripper range has 3 models, according to dimension and kind of cable to process:
- SUPERSTRIPPER 60 (*)
Superstripper 60 is a small dimension cable stripper and it’s the perfect one to strip low wire gauge with strong sheath. The small dimensions allow to obtain the highest productivity just with one operator.
Main applications are double cables with PVC heart and single steel and PVC cable. - SUPERSTRIPPER 170
Superstripper 170 is the most versatile model. Actually, this stripper is conceived to process cables from 6 to 80 mm and the adjustment of diameter is very simple and fast, giving to operator the faculty to work on different cables without waste of time.
The main apllications are Cores from Armoured Cable, Heavy Insulated Conducts, Quadrant and Low Grade Cable, - SUPERSTRIPPER 600
Superstripper 600 is the king of stripper range because of its strong structure conceived to process wide gauge wire and with stronger sheath. As the 170 model, the adjustment for different diameter is fast and accurate.
Main applications are: Steel Wire Armoured, Double Steel Wire Armoured, Steel Tape, Lead Covered and Thick Nylon.
The using of all models is very simple and fast and it allow in few seconds to process both low and wide diameter cables. The choice of right model to work with depends on kind of sheath to process.
(*) Model SS60 is not suitable for the processing of armoured cables and it can process cables with cover thickness < 5 mm
